dreidelgate

Looks like the Tories are up to their crazy partisanship. Shame on them for threatening the Jewish Community, just for inviting Michael Ignatieff to a menorah lighting! Looks like Tony Clement's aides are threatening and bullying the Jewish community. So much for reaching out to the Liberals, through threatening communities that welcome their leader. You think in this time of the season people would be better, well not Tory aides.
Take a look at this report.

Ahhh... yes... The Conservative-Reform Party "reaching out" to minorities.

The same kind of bullshit went on in Surrey with the Conservative Party patronizingly went after Sikh/South Asian votes. Harper's office decided to get into a fight with organizers because Harper refused to apologize on the floor of Parliament for the Komagata Maru incident. Organizers said this was the only legitimate apology, since other apologies were made on the floor of the Commons, and they were written into Hansard (the key point).

Harper organizers were told the PM was not welcome at the event if he did not offer the apology on the floor of the Commons. With the aid of Nina Grewal (token MP) Harper managed to get into the festival celebrating the Komagata Maru heroes/martyrs. He did not offer the apology in the House, and quickly left the stage, followed by Grewal - chased off with a chorus of "boos" and jeers.

This is how the Conservatives do politics with minority communities. It's a shame that some members of those communities like to be "window-dressing" for a party which could care less about them, and continues to create policy averse to their communities' very existence... Maybe it's the special recognition they get? Community "power-brokers"... hmmmph...

More Liberal unnamed sources, blah, blah, blah.

You people are pathetic, hope you're looking forward to facing the electorate early in the New Year if "Professor Iggy" and the rest of the stooges are feeling up to it.

There aren't any unname4d sources in that CTV story. You Tories can't even listen and watch TV properly. With these skills you should be out of government soon.

It sounded like the Harper régime wanted to prorogue Chanukkah for a day.

It took me a while to figure out that it is dreidel-gate, not drei-delegate (three-delegate?.)
